It's not the end of the year yet, but usually the "end of the year" kind of posts don't happen as it's also the busy period of the year. Might as well start early then!

This year I've completed the Goodreads Reading Challenge I've set up for myself—12 books in 12 months—earlier than I thought. I've read the following books this year, in reverse chronological order:

  I've since also started reading the second part of this book, it's a nice book to read in parallel with others as it consists of interviews with interesting people that are usually just a few pages long.

• Rinsed: From Cartels to Crypto How the Tech Industry Washes Money for the World's Deadliest Crooks (Personal rating: 3/5)

• Dark Wire: The Incredible True Story of the Largest Sting Operation Ever (Personal rating: 5/5)

• The Shenzhen Experiment: The Story of China’s Instant City (Personal rating: 5/5)

• The Spy Who Came In from the Cold (Personal rating: 4/5)

• The Man Who Solved the Market: How Jim Simons Launched the Quant Revolution (Personal rating: 5/5)

• Broken Money: Why Our Financial System is Failing Us and How We Can Make it Better (Personal rating: 4/5)

• Kitchen Confidential: Adventures in the Culinary Underbelly (Personal rating: 5/5)
  This one I've listened to as an audio book, as it's narrated by Bourdain himself which adds a lot.

• Boundless: The Rise, Fall, and Escape of Carlos Ghosn (Personal rating: 5/5)

• My Midsummer Morning: Rediscovering a Life of Adventure (Personal rating: 5/5)

There's a few books that I started but didn't complete, there's also some I'm still reading which are not in this list yet.
